Valerio CarraccioloI was born July 6, 1958 in Rome and after my degree in Physics, I started working in the family business dealing with Industrial Gases. During those years I developed the segment of home care, increasing significantly the market share on a national level. In 1994 foreseeing the suitable time and fearing the syndrome of the third generation ( which usually destroys what was built by those that preceded….) I sold the company to a multinational company, Linde A.G.. After a first professional engagement in the group's headquarters in Germany, in 1998 I was appointed managing director for its French subsidiary, a role that I covered until the end of 2002. Afterwards I worked as managing director of the Italian subsidiary. Then I decided to make a completely different experience accepting the office of Director for Italy of NGOs Amref (African Medical Research Foundation). Afterwards I became an active investor in real estate performing operations both in Italy and Great Britain. Finally I'm back as an Entrepreneur both as a business angel and as entrepreneur in the field of renewable energy. I received training and developed experience in IT and management and was actively involved with the Confederation of Italian Manufacturers “ Confindustria”. I am married with 3 children, I enjoy skiing, trekking , rock climbing, diving and currently am a member of IAG Italian Angels for Growth, the Italian association of business angels. As B.A. during the program Easy, I had the opportunity to address several interesting projects in particular to discover the fascinating project Akoya, an ULA exceptionally powerful, developed by Lisa Airplanes in France. Although rather ignorant in the field (at the time ...) I had a helping heart.
